About Quaker Parakeet
Quaker Parakeets are very witty and are a fun to be with. Unlike many other parrot species, a Quaker Parakeet's behavior can often be predictable. Therefore the Quaker Parakeet is more responsive when behavior modification techniques are needed. They have a loud and throaty call - something like quak or quarr that emanates a screechy sound.

Description
The Quaker Parakeet has bright green upper parts. The forehead and breast are pale gray with darker scalloping and the rest of the under parts are very-light green to yellow. The remiges are dark blue, and the tail is long and tapering. The bill is orange. Variations include a blue color and a very rare yellow color.
